Mission

Sumatrii is a socially conscious company focused on women empowerment through employment and education. We work with women artisans in rural India to hand embroider organic, merino wool felt laptop and tablet covers.

Leveraging our global reach, we want to facilitate new friendships - lasting friendships - across race, religion & gender. We want to connect the socially conscious consumer with beautifully crafted, fair trade products handmade by audacious and brilliant women.

What We Do

Sumatrii employs overlooked women artisans in rural India. Using safe working conditions and fair pay, we employ the artisans to hand-embroider a variety of tablet sleeves sold worldwide. The sales proceeds are shared back with the artisan community to fund their education and their dreams.
