Mission

STEAMpark, INC is a New Jersey-based 501(c)(3) whose mission is to build better futures for historically underserved kids with out-of-school programs that offer educational, social and wellness support. STEAMpark, INC. will provide hands-on learning opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, infused with Art at every level, using world partners, products and solutions that support inquiry-based and active learning.

What We Do

An exciting STEAMpark initiative happening now is STEMgirls Online Weekly Workshops, a virtual learning program that offers year-round academic and social-emotional connectedness for girls in 3rd to 8th grades. With Inquiry-based STEM projects and group lessons taught by certified teachers, girls also enjoy meeting female speakers from STEM fields, computer programming instruction and teen mentors/tutors to help individually outside of class. Girls from all over are learning and growing together in safe, online classrooms, learning critical skills to help them navigate the new normal. Curriculum for each session is thematically presented with a focus on relevant topics and career paths that students have indicated an interest in, with collaborative partner support. Based on the success of STEMgirls, we are expanding our reach and are starting STEAMpark Online which will provide this programming to girls and boys.
