What We Do

We believe that the physical, emotional, recreational and sporting benefits of horseback riding are at minimum, life enhancing, and for many, life changing. However, horseback riding is an expensive, exclusive and out of reach sport. We don't think that's fair, just or right. At Steady Strides, we strive to reduce and eliminate the barriers that prevent people from riding horses. We offer riding lessons in a safe and supportive setting to persons of all ages, all skill levels, with and without disabilities, and provide sliding scale fees and a scholarship fund. At Steady Strides, horses are for everyone.
