The SGVBG advocates for the native and exotic Caribbean plant species and our natural and historical heritage.

As committed stewards of our tropical collections and our Nationally Registered Historic property, we pursue our mission through:
Conservation of our regional plant species, both living and preserved
Preservation and restoration of our historic structures
Education for our communities in our ethnobotanical heritage

What We Do

We conserve the native plant species of St. Croix, as well as threatened species of other Caribbean islands suited to local environmental conditions.
