The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a "grass roots" charitable organization of volunteers that provides financial assistance to neighbors- in-need. We assist with rent, mortgage payments, utility bills and food primarily. We serve anyone who has a need for immediate, short-term financial assistance. We are not restricted by Federal Poverty Guidelines, but by the needs of the person at this moment in time.
The Fort Worth Council also has a Micro Loan Program, whose purpose is to provide loans of three types: small emergency loans, conversion loans of pay day loans and car title loans less than $4000.
