Mission

The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum is a non-profit organization whose main purpose is to preserve and promote the USS Edson DD-946. As the only surface warship in the Midwest, our goal is to serve as a unique education facility, to bring people into our community and to honor all those who have protected our nation's freedom and independence.
