Mission

PUENTE stands for People United to Enrich the Neighborhood through Education. PUENTE is also the Spanish word for bridge, since our educational and wrap-around services services bridges to learning and opportunity for children, youth, and adults in Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles, and beyond.
