Mission

Piper Fund envisions a truly inclusive, multiracial democracy that is grounded in the interests of diverse communities. Critical to this vision are structures that support democratic practice: elections and policy making that reflect the will of the people, rather than corporate and monied interests; courts that operate with integrity to protect rights, especially of those who are marginalized from their communities; and the protection of our fundamental right to protest and dissent from systems and decisions that have a negative impact on our communities as we work to build a more inclusive and just society.
