Mission

Our mission is to leverage the power of education, technology and community to help babies born prematurely in low-resource settings survive and thrive.

What We Do

Pebbles of Hope programs and grants focus on three areas— digital training, mentoring, and developing educational content—with the purpose of equipping health care workers, birth attendants and parents with the information they need to care for the smallest babies in regions with few medical facilities.

We fund and execute programs to train and educate healthcare workers in low-resource settings, mobilize the necessary supplies and leverage media outreach, community resources and mobile technology to educate parents on how to care for their preterm babies.

We focus geographically on initiatives that are either global in scope or are located in one of the countries with the highest incidence of prematurity, including India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Brazil and the US.
