Mission

The mission of Pangea Legal Services is to stand with immigrant communities and to provide services through direct legal representation, especially in the area of deportation defense. In addition to direct legal services, we are committed to advocating on behalf of our community through policy advocacy, education, and legal empowerment efforts.

What We Do

Pangea is a nonprofit that represents immigrants in deportation proceedings who have avenues to lawful status and also advocates for them through community empowerment, education, and policy advocacy efforts. We are driven by strong feelings of love. We are immigrant, POC, and women led (both staff and board). Our governance structure mirrors our values of social justice in that we are collectively run, our governance structure is horizontal, and our salaries are the same across all staff (receptionist, paralegal, and attorneys alike).
