Mission

One World Education's mission is to reinvigorate writing instruction in Washington, DC schools, summer programs, and adult learning centers, with a focus on teaching students to write college-level essays. It achieves this mission by providing teachers, schools, and centers with powerful curriculum, training, and tools to engage, support, challenge, and celebrate students on many levels. Eighty-five percent of schools using One World over the last three years have made statistically significant gains with critical research and writing skills, according to a recent World Bank evaluation.
