North Country Community Mental Health (NCCMH) is an established Authority under the MichiganMental Health Code, PA 258 of 1974. NCCMH provides services to residents of Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet, Kalkaska and Otsego Counties experiencing a serious mental illness, severe emotional problem, or intellectual/developmental disability, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorder. NCCMH provides a comprehensive service array, including: 24/7 crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, and inpatient hospitalization; assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis; treatment planning; case management and care coordination; home-based services; autism services; outpatient therapy; medication management; and specialized treatment and support including socialization and adaptive skill and coping skill training, health and rehabilitative series, and pre-vocational and vocational services. Services are designed to increase independence, improve quality of life, and support community integration and inclusion.
