The mission of our organization is as follows:
Nonotuck Resource Associates, Inc. unites with our local communities to create conditions for inclusion and social change.

What We Do

Nonotuck Resource Associates Inc. was established in 1972 to serve children who happened to have intellectual disabilities in our neighborhoods as opposed to an institution. Over the course of many years the agency has grown and now serves adults with intellectual and physical disabilities, in personalized and authentic home settings, throughout all of Massachusetts.
A leader in the movement of shared living Nonotuck's deep rooted values believes in the mutually of love, the mutually of respect and a unique interdependence between people. In 1991 the agency closed over 15 groups homes and move more than 50 people into more than 50 homes not unlike typical households. Today we serve 500 people in over 480 homes. People receive, case management, clinical, and nursing supports, in addition to the care and love they receive from the people who share their home.
