Mission

The New York City Montessori Charter School will empower children to be critical thinkers and creative problem solvers with strong social skills so that they can succeed in their world and continue to learn in their pursuit of higher education as they prepare for careers needed in the 21st Century.

What We Do

The New York City Montessori Charter School (NYCMCS) opened its doors to Kindergarten and First Grade students in Community School District 7 on September 6, 2011. The NYCMCS provides families with an alternative for the education of their children, offering an educational program that will reach a broad range of students supplemented by educational programs for families.
