Mission

The mission of MAU is to create awareness and build individual capacity within the African immigrant population related to the resources and opportunities available to them. MAU's outcomes is to close the economic, educational, and social, and emotional opportunity gaps which have persisted in Minnesota.

Minnesota Africans United (MAU) is a 501(C) 3 nonprofit coalition of individuals, businesses, and organizations in Minnesota. Founded in 2017, MAU is the first and only organization in Minnesota to bring together immigrants and their needs and aspirations associated with entrepreneurialism, business ownership, and cultural association and preservation across 55 African countries represented in Minnesota.
