Meals on Wheels San Francisco provides a network of services that allow seniors to live in their homes with dignity and independence as long as possible.

What We Do

Meals on Wheels San Francisco (MOWSF) provides nutritious meals and daily safety checks to homebound seniors and adults with disabilities in San Francisco. In 2018, we delivered 2.1 million meals to nearly 5,000 seniors and adults with disabilities. Along with the daily visit, MOWSF provides many other support services which include:
Social Work support, Nutritional Counseling, Support items - microwaves, small refrigerators, household safety items etc., Volunteer support through a Friendly Visitor Program, Grocery Shopping, Adopt-a-Building, and Home-Delivered Groceries.
These services are meant to keep a person in their home as they age with dignity and without isolation.
