Mission

Founded in 1973, the MJDC is a collaborative body of dancer/collaborators, writers, composers and visual designers, an ensemble that shifts and reconstitutes itself depending on the project. The MJDC and all its associates are dedicated to an art that awakens, provokes and encourages a deeper inquiry into oneself, that pushes the parameters of how art can be seen and interpreted, who experiences it, and the conversations that ensue.
