To empower under-served youth and families in Washington, DC with the love of Christ. We seek to develop their God-given potential spiritually, socially, and intellectually through academics, life skills, the arts, and discipleship.
What We Do
Little Lights, founded in 1995, works with some of the most under-resourced kids, teens, adults, and families in Washington, DC by offering tutoring and mentoring programs for kids, work experience through teen internships, as well as workforce readiness, parenting programs, and practical assistance to adults and families.
To accomplish this, Little Lights builds long-lasting relationships with those we serve, with our community, with our funders, and with the more than 500 volunteers each year who take our programs from idea to reality.
