Mission

Little Brothers-Friends of the Elderly is a national network of non-profit volunteer-based organizations committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. We offer to people of goodwill the opportunity to join the elderly in friendship and celebration of life.

What We Do

LBFE builds inclusive communities that span generations and cultures to prevent and relieve isolation and loneliness.

We connect college-age students to public and private senior housing communities to host weekly intergenerational social activities. We work with local and international students to provide programs in multiple languages that create and foster intergenerational, and peer-to-peer relationships.

Currently because of the COVID19 pandemic we host our programs virtually via Zoom and by telephone.
