Mission

We support first-generation college students of color thrive as high-schoolers, as they transition to college, throughout college, in the work force, and beyond.

We provide literacy & arts-based workshops to build students' social and emotional skills, mentorship to facilitate access to academic and professional resources, and core group interaction to create a sense of identity and belonging.

LitiArts believes in the power of literacy and the arts to enhance the opportunities for students of color so that they can fulfill their potential -- personally, academically, professionally, and socially.

We are a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization, officially recognized by the IRS as a public charitable organization.
