Mission

LIFT-DC's mission is to empower families to break the cycle of poverty. Our holistic approach, grounded in 1:1 coaching and wraparound supports, helps low-income parents of children ages 0-8 (members) achieve their career and financial goals. Just as well-off families leverage capital investments and networks to access new opportunities and accumulate greater assets, so too do families living in poverty need access to financial and social capital to achieve economic stability and mobility.
