Mission

The Let Freedom Ring Foundation endeavors to preserve and protect First Baptist Church's historic building, landscapes and historically significant artifacts We work with community partners to understand and educate about our past. We strive to spark continuing conversations that examine our history in different lenses, asking questions about what is historically significant. This helps us transmit our understanding of the past to future generations. Historic preservation helps us tell the stories of our past, celebrating events, people, places, and ideas that we are proud of while recognizing moments in our history that can be painful or uncomfortable to remember.
