Mission

Landmark Community Theatre's mission is to offer opportunities to members of our community to participate in and enjoy the performing arts.

We seek to educate all ages in performing arts, and strive to preserve and protect the
Thomaston Opera House as a historic landmark, cultural asset, and community space. We believe that art and cultural opportunities are an integral part of all great communities.

The Opera House was built by the community for the purpose of enriching lives through art. As such, it should remain a regional, community facility, providing art, and cultural opportunities.

What We Do

Landmark Community Theatre (LCT) is a local arts organization incorporated with the State of Connecticut and is recognized as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the IRS. We are committed to managing the Thomaston Opera House and continuing the high level of theatrical productions for which is renown.
