MissionKadiwaku Foundation aims at supporting African refugee and immigrant communities across Connecticut by connecting them with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.
What We DoCOVID-19 RESPONSE:
Kadiwaku Family Foundation USA is sharing information and measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus pandemic within the African community in Connecticut in more than five African languages in the state of Connecticut.
Our financial literacy program helps newcomers and all lower-income families improve their long-term financial stability. We equip them with accurate knowledge, a strong understanding and useful tools for managing their personal finances.
JOB PREPARATION SKILLS:
Our workshops cover a range of topics to help refugees and immigrants meet employers' demands such as how to resolve conflict in the workplace, how to use common computer programs, how to write a professional resume, etc.
We also help those who want to become entrepreneurs by providing them with basic skills on how to start a small business in the USA.
