Junior Achievement of Arizona empowers young people with the skills to emerge from inter-generational poverty and succeed in work and life. We give students the knowledge they need to manage their money, plan for their future, and make smart academic, career and economic choices. Delivered by trained and passionate volunteer mentors, our hands-on programs focus on three key areas: financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship. Our effect is having more financial stable, healthy families in Southern Arizona, with better jobs and opening more profitable businesses. Creating true financial stability is virtually the definition of eliminating family poverty, forever.
What We Do
JA's unique program model places volunteers from the community into the classrooms where they teach our curriculum to students and share about their real world experiences. Our programs equip today's students with critical financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship skills that will prepare them to succeed in work and life.
