International Mutual is dedicated to providing medical care to under served populations outside of the USA.

IMA is one of the medical organizations that has responded to treat Ebola patients in West Africa.

What We Do

IMA is working in Kono District, Sierra Leone responding to Ebola. IMA's team of clinicians has worked on Case Investigation, Contact Tracing, Surveillance, and Treatment.

As the Ebola crisis has slowed, IMA has begun working to strengthen the very broken health system of Sierra Leone. IMA's operations in Kono district are focused on Soa Chiefdom. We have, in addition to Ebola response, already helped to increase access to free and definitive heath care to Soa chiefdom. As we move forward we are continuing to increase the level of free care in the chiefdom and as we continue to have success we will expand beyond the borders of Soa Chiefdom.
