What We Do

We are place-based and values-led, building upon community assets by connecting and leveraging all forms of foundation capital for increased impact through our key roles of Connector and Convener; Investor; Funder; Attract long-term community assets; Storyteller; Capacity Builder; Influencer and Advocate:

Moral Capital: We believe that we should grow multiple forms of capital to sustain the economy, root ownership in the region to build wealth equitably, and strengthen and improve livelihoods for those living on the margins.

Social Capital: We are a uniter and believe that diversity need not divide. We see the larger system from multiple perspectives, fostering reflection and trust among people with diverse perspectives and life experiences, and shift the collective focus from reactive problem solving to creating the future through transformational leadership.

Intellectual Capital: We are a learning organization. We believe that the people of Reno County and our community partners have the answers, the expertise, and the wisdom to address our most pressing challenges, and we can be a conduit of knowledge and ideas.

Reputational Capital: We are vision keepers and trusted disruptors. We believe we should lead in the gaps and strive to give the work back once a value becomes core to our community's culture and embedded in our policies, systems, and environments.

Financial Capital: We invest our financial assets strategically to achieve our vision for a thriving and resilient community for all people in Reno County, with priorities of investing in innovation, collaboration, effective organizations, adaptive leadership, and systems and environment change.
