What We Do
Huston-Tillotson University (HT) is a historically black college or university (HBCU) in Austin, Texas. HT serves a student population of about 1,100 predominantly Black/African American (66%) and Hispanic (30%) students, most of whom qualify as high financial need and are the first in their families to attend college. HT is a liberal arts-focused institution that offers Bachelor's degrees in 19 majors though the College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Business and Technology. HT also offers Master's degrees in Business Administration and Education. HT is affiliated with the United Negro College Fund, the United Methodist Church, and the United Church of Christ. A multicultural, multi-ethnic, and multi-faith institution, the University welcomes students of all ages, races, and religions.
