House of Ruth is dedicated to preventing domestic violence and ensuring the safety and well being of those impacted by it.

What We Do

Since 1977 House of Ruth has provided life-saving support to individuals and families affected by domestic violence in eastern Los Angeles and western San Bernardino counties. Our origin began when a group of graduate students in Claremont launched a hotline service for their community service project. Since then, we have grown to be a primary domestic violence agency serving the Inland Empire through evidence-based practices. Our vision is a violence free world where every home is a safe home. We serve all individuals impacted by domestic violence regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, immigrant status, language, or ability.
