Exemplify Christ by providing high quality healthcare and related services to refugees and other underserved populations. Empower families spiritually, physically and socially through the gospel, health services, education and other resources that promote self-sufficiency. Encourage medical and non-medical volunteers to experience the blessings that can only come from serving others.

What We Do

Hope Clinic is a free, primary healthcare clinic for the uninsured living in the Austin area. We are dedicated to serving those in transitional life situations, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or religious affiliation. The majority of our patients are resettled refugees and immigrants, as well people living in homelessness and the working poor. Our primary source of income is donations from churches, patients and individuals. The clinic is staffed entirely by volunteers other than two part-time employees. Our executive director, doctors, nurses and other medical personnel donate their time to support people who have nowhere else to turn. You may see references to Get Up Project on our website and in other materials. That is the name of our 501c3 in the governing documents, but we do business as Hope Medical Clinic.
