Mission

Our Mission is to provide advocacy for women of all ages including immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers and BIPOC communities. While our focus is to uplift and support women we also focus on the health and well-being of all disadvantaged and marginalized communities.

What We Do

Her Safety is a community based nonprofit organization that works with immigrant communities in Maine who are faced with many challenges in adapting to their new environment. The organization's main goal is to protect women of all ages from gender-based violence including domestic violence, sexual violence, and sexual trafficking. To create awareness about these violent criminal activities, the organization also provides education and outreach about these topics in a culturally and linguistically appropriate manner and in most spoken languages in Maine.
