What We Do

Heirs Farm is a year-round, urban farming solution that offers fresh, locally grown food options and community education. We use hydroponics and vertical farming to harvest nutrient-dense, culturally appropriate food options for Chicago's African Diaspora and food businesses. We also use active community engagement, community events, and digital campaigns to educate our communities on urban farming, organic eating, and sustainability practices.
