Mission

GRO Health Center's (GHC) mission is to enhance the well being of historically-unserved and underserved communities by providing access to education, training, and support for climate-smart initiatives that promote the long-term sustainability of local food systems.

What We Do

We achieve our mission by creating and managing programs focused on: environmental stewardship; natural resource conservation; improved health and nutrition; and economic development of unserved and underserved communities. We envision a St. Louis community with environmental equity, justice, and sustainability.

GHC's programs seek to improve soil health, reduce waste, and offer shared-access to equipment and training for special projects in collaboration with local state and federal agencies.
