MissionThe mission of Good Samaritan Community Services is to serve as a catalyst for change, supporting youth, individuals and families by providing excellent community services to overcome economic poverty.
What We DoGood Samaritan provides services via two departments, Family Services and Youth and Teen Services. Family Services provides an early head start and per-school program to accelerate learning at an early age, services to families focusing on parent support and engagement and services to senior citizens to minimize isolation and improve socialization through its senior center, a nationally accredited program for senior citizens.
The other main programs for those we serve are provided by the Youth and Teen Services Department. Youth and Teen Services programs help youth acquire the life and academic skills necessary for personal success via Camp Good Sam, a six week summer learning program, a college and career readiness program, and asset building for clients program program both in-school and out of school focus on academic enrichment, STEM activities and leadership development, a Texas Hill Country Camps program for families and their children and youth case management services that supports youth and families on a one on one and group settings.
