Mission

Gates County Public Schools, located in rural northeast North Carolina, has three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school serving approximately 1,600 students. The mission of Gates County Public Schools is to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to provide a nurturing educational environment that empowers students to be college and career ready through utilizing technology and 21st century skills. The school district is committed to inspiring all of our students to reach their maximum potential in becoming productive citizens. The school district takes great pride in the sense of family that exists within the schools and community.
