Mission

Friends of Seva Mandir supports the work of Seva Mandir, a voluntary organization in India working in over 1300 villages on issues of child care, education, health care, livelihoods, empowerment programs for women and environmental conservation. While the work across programs is significant in and of itself, they are primarily intended to support cohesive and inclusive communities through the creation of democratic forums spanning gender, socio-economic divides and castes to encourage self-governance.
