Mission

For 35 years, For Kids Only Afterschool (FKO) has been helping kids learn, love and grow together with their communities - encouraging our youth to leave their own mark on the world through individual journeys of peace and kindness.

At FKO, we call these marks heartprints, and we all have one that's unique, unlike any other. You can't see your heartprint, but you can feel it - through the words you say and the things you do. It's the pattern on every heart that makes us who we are, guiding our own unique essence - our feelings, thoughts and actions. FKO celebrates all heartprints and believes that before you can really learn, love and grow with others, you must first embrace your own. #whatsyourheartprint

What We Do

FKO's year-round out-of-school time programming offers learning experiences after school, during school vacation weeks and throughout the summer that boost the academic, social, emotional and physical development of the growing school-age child. Our trained and certified educators offer support and guidance that children need to feel safe and happy, while our enriching programs offer a structured and engaging curriculum with the flexibility youth crave to explore favorite activities and discover new passions.
