Mission

To provide powerful live music experiences of classical and classically-inflected music on the California Central Coast.

What We Do

We bring world-class classical music to the California Central Coast. We host a summer festival (10+ days of orchestra, chamber music, fringe and culinary/wine events), and we also have a WinterMezzo chamber music series in the off-season.

We have an internationally-renowned music director, Scott Yoo, who designs our programs and invites musicians to come to our scenic area. We celebrated 48 years of programming in 2016 and we aim for much more.

The festival is located in a hidden gem area of the state of California. We're seeking to grow our national/international profile. We're based in San Luis Obispo, which is halfway between LA and San Francisco.

We put on 30+ events per year with a full-time staff of 3 in the office year-round. We need help with marketing, design, donor communications, and strategy.
