Mission

The Dyslexia Tutoring Program's mission is to work with low-income children and adults who have dyslexia or a language-based learning disability, and teach them to read, write and spell. We accomplish this through assessments and one-on-one tutoring by volunteer tutors - free of charge.

Everything begins with learning to read. Our goal is to help low-income children and adults with dyslexia learn to read so they can overcome their challenges, regain their confidence, stay in school and graduate, find economic opportunity, become productive members of their communities, and have brighter futures.
