Mission

The Organization principally exists to (a) advocate for policy changes that will result in the
eradication of maternal mortality and morbidity issues among black mothers subject to Code
501(h); (b) collect and analyze data to provide data-driven recommendations to practitioners working to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity among black mothers; (c) provide education to new black mothers on danger signs; (d) collaborate with other nonprofit organizations working in the field on solutions for eradicating maternal mortality and morbidity for black mothers; and to (e) conduct education campaigns around the issue of maternal mortality and morbidity for public
at large;
