Mission

We move young people to peace through dance, theater and martial arts to achieve our mission to end isolation, prejudice and violence in the lives of young people.

What We Do

We provide rigorous dance, theater and martial arts training combined with our violence prevention curriculum with over 800 classes per year at our Oakland-based arts center and in over 20 Oakland and East Bay schools. We serve over 4,000 youth ages 3-18 annually, reaching over 20,000 audience members each year.

Destiny provides a powerful platform to effect social change while increasing exposure and access to the arts, especially amongst underserved audiences and communities.
