DC SAFE's mission is to ensure the safety and self-determination of domestic violence survivors in Washington, DC through emergency services, court advocacy, and system reform.

What We Do

DC SAFE is the only 24/7 crisis intervention agency for domestic violence in Washington, DC. We help thousands of survivors each year -- first to help them find immediate safety, and then empowering them to break the cycle of violence and start building a better future for themselves and their families. No matter whom the victim, DC SAFE is ready to help.
