Our nonprofit journalism amplifies voices in disinvested Dallas neighborhoods and explores solutions to our city's systemic inequities.

What We Do

Our community journalism focuses efforts in South Dallas and West Dallas, historically disinvested neighborhoods with diverse audiences. We also formed a local journalism collaborative to tackle complex citywide issues, launched a journalism pathway from Dallas high schools to Dallas newsrooms, and in 2023, will make Dallas the 10th city in America to host the Documenters network.
