Mission

CT-ALIVE's mission is to empower victims and their families to heal after experiencing the trauma of violence and abuse by providing support, advocacy and education. CT-ALIVE supports free programs for women who have been abused (domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse) that provide motivational tools and invaluable resources to empower them to take the journey beyond abuse from victim to survivor to thriver. Women who reclaim and stabilize their lives financially, socially and emotionally in this way are less likely to return to an abusive relationship or suffer the long-term physical and psychological impact of the abuse they have experienced.
