Mission

The Mission of The Children's Playhouse of Maryland is to provide theatrical experiences for young people, 18 and under, in Baltimore's diverse metropolitan area. Our goals are to make live theatre accessible to all children, to enable young people to gain an appreciation for the arts, as well as confidence and a sense of responsibility, and provide training and practice in theatre production and performance for youth.

What We Do

In residence at CCBC Essex. The Children's Playhouse of Maryland, is an award winning children's theatre providing workshops, summer camps and performance opportunities for youth 18 and under. Children's Playhouse produces four musicals each season. Performances take place in the Administration Building Lecture Hall on the campus of CCBC Essex.
