Mission
To offer a multi-faceted, interactive, creative space for children and families to discover a variety of learning opportunities inherent in play.
What We Do
The Children's Museum of St. Croix received its 501c3 designation as a non-profit organization in August, 2017. To date, our activities have involved setting up a "Pop-Up Museum" at various community events designed for children to interact with displays and engage in using materials. We focus on the importance of stimulating children in the areas of science, technology, mathematics, and the arts (STEAM), as well as literacy, in ways that can ultimately support children's success in school and life. Children are exposed to experiences that engage and challenge them in creative expression, exploration, experimentation, and discovery, as well as, those that help them learn social and emotional skills essential for growth and development, such as self-regulation and cooperation.
