Mission

The Baltimore Youth Kinetic Energy Collective (BYKE) is an after-school enrichment program designed to develop personal and professional skills in young people through learning bicycle mechanics, practicing safe ridership, and building community. We focus on youth workforce development, mentorship, and violence prevention. BYKE serves 10-17-year old from Baltimore City living in under-resourced areas, many of whom struggle with the juvenile justice system, a lack of resources, and limited parental supervision.
