Mission

Buffalo ReformED is an education reform advocacy organization whose mission is to empower the community to put students first. We organize and inform a diverse coalition of community stakeholders to prioritize the needs of students and support parents by providing them with tools necessary to become informed change agents. We produce high quality research that identifies obstacles to reform, and promote policies aimed at helping students, schools, and teachers thrive.

What We Do

Buffalo ReformED works at both the grassroots and decision-making levels. As Community Organizers, Buffalo ReformED organizes and empowers a diverse array of stakeholders, including parents, business leaders, faith-based leaders and community partners to act as strong advocates on behalf of students. As Policy Leaders, Buffalo ReformED works directly with school board members, district administrators, and charter school leaders to provide high-quality research and analysis, best practices compilation, policy drafting, and public advocacy for reform initiatives.
