Mission

Berni & Murcer-Friends for Life provides emotional support, day-to-day comfort, encouragement and inspiration to children diagnosed with cancer (and their families) through the use of therapeutic "Comfort Backpacks", stories, and on-line services, which allows the child to be transformed away from the trauma of the diagnosis & treatment and to a state of mind of strength, hope, and courage. With thoughtful comfort and creativity, children are enabled to maintain their identity and give themselves every chance of a healthy outcome.
