Badilika Foundation is a non profit organisation which was established in 2006 in Blantyre, Malawi with a mission to improve holistic community livelihoods especially of underprivileged girls and women. We envision a society where girls and women are empowered to take part in the development processes of their communities. Our core activities include improving access to education for girls and young women; linking girls and women to access quality HIV and health services, providing opportunities for economic development and promoting human rights of girls and women.
What We Do
Our core activities are:
1. Ensuring that marginalized girls and young women have access to secondary school education through provision of scholarships.
2. Linking girls and women to access quality health services such as HIV prevention & treatment, and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) services.
3. Providing opportunities for economic empowerment.
4. Advocating for human rights of women and girls such as rights to education, health and legal services.
